Here is the link to the photos, see the results for yourself: Olympic National Park

Mesquite NV Super Run Custom Car Show, Sept 2017 https://www.warrenwillisphotography.com/blog/2017/10/mesquite-nv-super-run-custom-car-show-sept-2017 On Sept 22, 2017, prior to my Grand Teton National Park trip, I attended the Mesquite NV Super Run Car how.  I wanted to try out a new lens I received for my Grand Teton trip.  The lens was the new Tamron 18-400mm f3.5-6.3 superzoom lens for APS-C DSLR cameras.  These car show photos were all taken with this new lens.  I used this lens later to capture all of the wildlife photos at Grand Teton.  Using the lens on my Canon 7D gave me an equivalent range of 29-640mm. This will be my new travel lens.

Grand Teton National Park & Utah Fall Colors - 2017 https://www.warrenwillisphotography.com/blog/2017/10/grand-teton-national-park-utah-fall-colors---2017 On September 25, 2017 I traveled to Grand Teton National Park to photograph the fall colors.  I spent four days there but, unfortunately the leaves were late changing color this year and I did not get the brilliant gold colored aspens I was hoping for.  I did get most of the iconic shots of Schwabacher Landing, Mormon Row barns, Oxbow Bend, Shane Cabin, Jackson lake, etc.  I also got a few shots of bears (only one grizzly is posted), moose, bison, and pronghorns. Also are photos posted of the drive to Grand Teton through Logan Canyon Utah, and the Mt Nebo Loop Drive on the way home (brilliant colors in the maples here).

The Palouse of Eastern Washington https://www.warrenwillisphotography.com/blog/2017/8/the-palouse-of-eastern-washington In early June I traveled to Eastern Washington to photograph the infamous Palouse country.  It is a region in south eastern Washington characterized by gentle rolling hills covered with wheat fields.  The Palouse hills are not only a landscape unique in the world, but they are beautiful to behold and a photographers dream.

Autumn in Maine, New Hampshire, and Vermont https://www.warrenwillisphotography.com/blog/2016/12/autumn-in-maine-new-hampshire-and-vermont In October 2013 I attended to what was suppose to be an Acadia National Park photography workshop.  I did attend the workshop, but due to the government shutdown, the park was closed.  Therefore we only photographed the surrounding area in Maine.  My wife and I arrived in Portland Maine a week earlier, rented a car and toured/photographed Vermont, New Hampshire, and parts of Maine.

Eastern Sierras of California Workshop https://www.warrenwillisphotography.com/blog/2012/10/eastern-sierras-of-california-workshop During the period Oct. 14 thru 18, I attended a photography workshop photographing the eastern side of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range of California.  The workshop was put on by Jack Graham, with Guy Tal assisting - both were excellent.  The workshop was excellent, but the weather was a little too perfect, very few, if no clouds.  We started in Lee Vining CA and worked our way south to Lone Pine CA.

Canadian Rockies https://www.warrenwillisphotography.com/blog/2012/10/canadian-rockies In early September I traveled to Banff and Jasper National Parks in Alberta Canada to photograph the fall foliage.  Although, it turned out to be a little early for the fall foliage, I did get some good landscape scenery shots of the mountains, lakes, waterfalls, and rivers.  If you've never been up there, I highly encourage you visit that area, the scenery is breath taking.  During my visit, Banff National Park was quite crowded, and Jasper National Park was less crowded.

Hummingbirds in southeastern Arizona https://www.warrenwillisphotography.com/blog/2012/10/hummingbirds-in-southeastern-arizona In late August I traveled down to Madera Canyon southeast of Tuscon Arizona to photograph hummingbirds.  Up to 16 different breeds stop over here in their migrations.  At this time I was able to photograph 4 to 5 different breeds (Calliope, Rufous, Black-chinned, Broad-billed, and Anne).

Mono Lake, California https://www.warrenwillisphotography.com/blog/2012/8/mono-lake-california On August 2, 2012, I visited and photographed Mono Lake California, which is noted for it's "Tufa Towers."  Many of the unusual limestone formations jut out of the water, and many are landlocked, due to water level of the lake being lowered.  The photos were taken at the South Tufa area at sunset, and sunrise.
