I just returned from attending a Jack Graham Photo workshop at Olympic National Park in Washington state. The workshop ran from April 19 until morning of April 22, 2018. We had rain for part of the Sol Duc day shoot, and rain off and on for the Hoh Rain Forest day shoot, which made it almost perfect. The weather, tides, wind, marine layer, etc didn't cooperate much for the Ruby, Rialto, First Beach sunset shoots. We did get one sunset at Rialto Beach on the evening before the official start of the workshop. Our accommodations were at the Pacific Inn Motel in Forks WA. During this workshop I was trying out my new mirrorless Canon EOS M6 24MP APS-C format camera. I was impressed with the camera and results. It is a third of the size and weight of my larger 5D MKIII Canon full frame camera. It allowed me to cut down the size and weight of my photo bag considerably, which at my age really helps.
